Biography
Edward M. Nass has devoted his entire legal career to protecting and pursuing the rights of individuals who have been injured, disabled, or died as a result of accidents, asbestos exposure, work injuries, medical malpractice and dangerous products.
Mr. Nass has particularly distinguished himself as a trial attorney in all types of civil litigation. He has tried to verdict over 300 hundred cases in his career. Twenty of his jury verdicts have been in excess of one million dollars. He has been honored with the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer designation since its inception, and the highest attorney rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Nass is well-known for his representation of asbestos victims. He handled his first asbestos case in 1981, and over the past 27 years, has represented thousands of asbestos victims, including hundreds of mesothelioma victims. Mr. Nass has won numerous multi-million dollar jury verdicts for asbestos victims from around the country. He is the only attorney to have ever won an asbestos trial in both Montgomery and Chester County. He is the only attorney in the country to have ever obtained a jury verdict against Dana Corporation, after Dana had obtained over 20 jury verdicts in its favor.
Mr. Nass is a devoted husband and father of four children. He also serves as an elder at the Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.
